Kristopher A. Capadona has had a wide array of experience representing businesses, financial institutions, commercial entities and individuals in contested litigation and business transactions. 

 

Practicing in both state and federal courts, Kris has represented clients in a variety of contract disputes, real estate disputes including commercial mortgage foreclosure, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, consent judgments, defending lender liability claims, commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes, shareholder member and partner disputes, and federal civil rights and constitutional claims.

 

Kris’s commercial practice involves representing developers, real estate investment trusts, management companies, landlords, tenants and corporations in all aspects of commercials transactions and litigation. Clients regularly seek advice on negotiating transactions, including lease agreement, contracts, asset purchase agreements, purchase agreements, and zoning issues, in order to avoid issues that may eventually lead to costly litigation without careful planning and guidance. 

 

However, if litigation does arise, he is well versed in all aspects of commercial litigation. 


Kris also has extensive experience in real estate transactional matters through his representation of financial institutions in negotiating loan workouts, negotiating and drafting loan documents, as well as representing businesses and commercial entities in the negotiation and drafting of commercial lease agreements and business contracts. Kris also has experience in real estate acquisitions, zoning and municipal matters.


He regularly advises and represents banks, financials institutions, and individuals in all aspects of real estate disputes and financial transactions, including mortgage foreclosures and loan workouts, loan structuring and proper documentation of secured and unsecured loan transactions. 

 

Representation of these entities and individuals has involved both transactional matters and litigation at both the state and federal levels as well as the appellate court.
